How Boise Water Damage Help Works
We're a referral service, not a restoration company. Here's exactly what happens when you submit a request, and what we are (and aren't).
What We Are
Boise Water Damage Help is an independent, locally-focused referral website. We built this site because finding a trustworthy water damage restoration company quickly — especially at 11 p.m. with water already on the floor — is harder than it should be. Instead of searching through pages of ads, you fill out one short form, and we route your request to independent restoration providers who serve your area and the type of damage you're dealing with.
What We Are Not
We are not a licensed contractor, and we do not perform water damage restoration, mold remediation, water extraction, structural drying, or any repair work ourselves. We don't own trucks, dehumidifiers, or crews. Every job is performed by an independent, third-party restoration company that you are matched with — not by us.
The Process, Step by Step
1. You Submit a Request
Fill out the form on our contact page with your location, the type of damage, how urgent it is, and a brief description. It takes a couple of minutes.
2. We Match You
We pass your request to independent restoration providers in our network who serve your part of the Treasure Valley and handle the type of damage you described.
3. A Provider Contacts You
A matched provider reaches out directly — usually by phone or text — to confirm details and schedule an assessment. You decide whether to move forward.
No Cost or Obligation to You
Submitting a request through this site costs nothing, and you're never obligated to hire a provider you're matched with. We may receive a referral fee from the restoration companies in our network when a match leads to work — that's how this site stays free for homeowners. That fee never comes out of your pocket and never affects what a provider charges you.
Your Responsibility When Hiring
Because we don't perform the work ourselves, it's important that you do your own due diligence before any work begins. Before you hire a provider you're matched with:
- Confirm the company holds current Idaho contractor registration where applicable — you can check status through the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses.
- Ask for proof of general liability insurance.
- Get a written estimate before any work starts.
- Confirm pricing, scope of work, and timeline directly with the provider — we are not party to that agreement.
